Chris Brown Tops Charts for First Time Since 2008

Chris Brown is back on top of Billboard charts for the first time since 2008. After 32 weeks on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs Chart, Young Thug and CB secured the top spot with their hit single “Go Crazy’.

When I first read the news on Billboard.com I didn’t believe it. How could one of the biggest name in music go 12 years without a #1 song?

To be fair, Chris Brown was featured on a couple number one hits in the past decade. Remember when Busta Rhymes taught him how to rap on “Look at Me Now”? That monster hit ruled the charts for 8 straight weeks in 2011.
