Service workers for their airport voted Friday to strike Thanksgiving week due to low wages and they demand respect on the job during the holiday travel season.
Some of the workers’ job duties are to clean airplanes and take care of trash and help transport customers in wheelchairs.
The airport is expecting 1.2 million passengers between last Thursday and the Monday after Thanksgiving.
