CDC Issues A Recall Of Tanimaura & Antle Romaine Lettuce Due To E. Coli Outbreak

According to the CDC, there has been an outbreak or E. coli that could be linked to romaine lettuce.
So far, 12 people have gotten sick and 5 have been hospitalized.
The cases are spread over 6 states and have been traced back from a sample of Tanimaura & Antle romaine lettuce in a single head package.
The sample taken from the Tanimaura & Antle package matches the strain that those 12 people had contracted, but there are also 2 additional unrelated outbreaks currently being investigated as well.
One of these has made 23 people in 12 states sick and another has caused 21 illnesses and 1 death in 8 states.
