CDC Emphasizes COVID-19 Vaccinations as a Key to Safe Holiday Gatherings

Written by on October 17, 2021

This past Friday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, also known as the CDC has released its updated guidance around gatherings and traveling amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This guidance comes following confusion earlier this month on how the country should safely celebrate the holidays. In their guidance, the CDC simply stated that the best way to safely celebrate the holiday season is by being vaccinated against the coronavirus if you are eligible to do so. On their website, the CDC stated: “Protect those not yet eligible for vaccination such as young children by getting yourself and other eligible people around them vaccinated.”
