Bishop Jerry McCullough, founder of Rochester’s Faith Temple Apostolic Church, died at 84. He and his wife, Maggie, were longtime community leaders, known for outreach programs and fostering local connections.

Several new town supervisors across Monroe County are being sworn in following November’s general election, where multiple incumbents were defeated or chose not to run. All town supervisor positions in Monroe County were on the ballot in November, though some races were uncontested.

The GoodPhone Project unveiled three new free public phones in Rochester, allowing calls across the U.S. and several other countries. Installed at community locations and featuring local artwork, the project aims to expand access to communication and will continue to grow through partnerships.

Power outages are rising across Rochester and Western New York as high wind warnings were in effect.  Gusts up to 60 mph have caused downed trees, limbs, and power lines.
