Brandy & Monica Are The Next Contestants On Verzuz

It’s confirmed: the next Verzuz will feature two 90’s R&B icons, Brandy and Monica.
On Saturday night, the Verzuz official instagram announced the arrival of the challengers with an amazing split image of the singer’s faces.
After dancing around whether or not the event would ever take place, they finally let everyone know last night.
Brandy tweeted:
“#History Thank you @monicadenise and @verzuztv for making this happen. Let’s celebrate!!!!”
Monica agreed, tweeting:
“This will be historical, It’s an honor @brandy.”
She followed up, saying:
“What songs would you all like to see us bring to @verzuztv !! Celebrating these catalogs is for the culture with love! From Young Women to Adult Women we’ve been with y’all! Name the songs you love.”
Brandy and Monica will be battling it out on Monday, Aug 31 at 8 p.m. ET on Apple Music and Instagram.
