Blue Colored Swimsuits Could Make It Difficult To See Kids In Water

As we enter into Spring and then Summer seasons where the weather heats up and we head to pools and beaches one swim instructor wants parents to be mindful of swimsuit colors.

According to an article in the New York Post, an infant swim instructor is warning parents certain colors of blue on swimsuits can camouflage rescues. If a child is wearing a swimsuit that is the same color as the environment it could be hard to identify a child in trouble in the water.
Bright color swimsuits are the best as it is easier to see underwater. She also suggested to avoid buying any pastel colors.
