Black Culture Festival Kicks off at Parcel 5

Yesterday, Black-owned vendors from all over Rochester began to set up for the second annual Black Culture Festival. The festival is located in downtown Rochester, at Parcel 5. The Black Culture Festival is a way to celebrate artists and black business owners in the Rochester area. They invite all to ‘come enjoy black art, music, food, soul and culture’ this weekend.

Aneesah Willis, a vendor at this weekend’s festival, stated; “Were all coming together, it’s an opportunity to network, it’s an opportunity for us to celebrate and uplift one another.” The Black Culture Festival begins today at 12 pm and will run till 10 pm.
