Being Mary Jane Star Gabrielle Union Files Lawsuit Against BET

Gabrielle Union recently filed a lawsuit seeking more than $1 million in damages against BET for breach of contract and negligent misrepresentation.

The being Mary Jane star is claiming the cable network is attempting to cut corners on costs by condensing the two seasons into one 20 episode season. Apparently, BET executives promised there would never be more than 13 episodes per season and a raise in season 5 from $150K per episode to $165K per episode.

Hmmm… So BET is pretty much trying to get out of giving Gabby her raise with a BOGO deal (buy in get one) which I think is insane because she is a pretty dope actress.

Wait where is Oprah or Tyler Perry? Because I’m sure they would love to capitalize on this opportunity! (Hint..Hint) BET is playing games and like a relationship what one won’t do the next will.
