Former President Barack Obama has once again graced us with his curated list of his top songs for Summer 2023, providing an eclectic mix of his current music preferences. This year’s selection features “Snooze” from SZA’s SOS album, Boygenius’ “Not Strong Enough,” and “Only Have Eyes 42” by Janelle Monáe. He’s also included hits from Bob Dylan, Ice Spice, Nicki Minaj, Aretha Franklin, Jorja Smith, Kelela, Leonard Cohen, and others.
In his customary fashion, Obama announced his playlist on Twitter, tweeting, “As per my yearly tradition, I’m sharing a collection of songs that have been the soundtrack to my summer, blending the old with the new. I’m excited to discover what gems I may have missed.” See the complete list here
