At Least One Dead after Small Plane Crashes into Lake near Nashville

Authorities said a plane carrying 7 people crashed into a lake near Nashville killing at least one passenger.
Rutherford County Public Information Officer, Ashley McDonald, shared the plane, Cessna C501, took flight about 12 miles south of Nashville.
McDonald also shared that they do not know who was aboard the flight. They are also not yet sharing who the plane belongs to.
CNN reported more on what McDonald said and stated:
“‘We acknowledge that there are several rumors that are circulating regarding the number of victims and the identification of those victims,’ McDonald said. ‘None of this information has been officially released from anyone associated with the investigation,’ she said.”
McDonald also stated the plane was headed to Palm Beach, Florida.
