AMR Makes History with First All Female Graduating Class

Yesterday, the American Medical Response made nationwide history as the first all-female class in Rochester to graduate from the Earn While You Learn program. The Earn While You Learn program first began in Buffalo back in 2018, with the purpose of the course being that they pay students full-time wage while they complete training and certifications to become Emergency Medical Technicians. The program has since graduated more than 1,000 EMTs.
AMR graduate Nicole Kuntz stated: “As I was sitting through the class, I realized we’re 10 very strong independent women and we all have exactly what it took. So, it was an amazing experience learning with all these girls and I can’t wait to see all of them, plus me, out there.”
