American Woman Discovers She Is An African Princess

Sarah Culberson was adopted before she turned one year old. She never knew her birth family and, after entering grad school, decided to find them.
First, she found members of her mother’s side who received her well. Unfortunately, her mom had already died of cancer but, she learned alot about her through some great communication with her aunt.
Some time after, Sarah researched to find her father. Family members from her father’s side weren’t far from West Virginia. She made contact with them in Maryland. Maryland led her to Sierra Leone where she discovered her biological dad’s family was royalty.
Culberson’s experience was so inspiring, it led to her co-authoring a book about it. It’s called “A Princess Found”. She is currently in talks on creating a Disney movie from it.
Ultimately, Sarah Culberson wants to enlighten African-American kids by sharing her experiences.
