Actor Jussie Smollett Sentenced To 150 Days In Jail For Lying About Hate Crime

Actor Jussie Smollett was sentenced to 150 days in jail, for lying to police about an alleged hate crime in 2019. Smollett faced up to three years in prison for each of the five felony counts. The Empire TV show star, will also have to pay $120,106 restitution to the city of Chicago in addition to the maximum $25,000 fine.
