Sunday night a Syracuse police officer and an Onondaga County Sheriff’s deputy were killed in the line of duty.
The officers were doing an investigation into a stolen vehicle that led police on a chase to a home where gunfire was exchanged leaving both officers and suspect hit.
The officers and suspect were taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
