A Multi-Million-Square-Foot Amazon Facility Might Be Coming To The Town Of Gates

According to the County of Monroe Industrial Agency, a meeting is scheduled to be held to discuss a multi-million-square foot Amazon facility in the Town of Gates.
Homeowners and local business representatives are expected to attend the public forum to air their concerns about the proposed project.
Charles Parsons lives right across from the proposed site on Manitou Road in The Town of Gates. He gave a statement, saying:
“Close knit community with all of our neighbors. Elm grove park, tech grove across the street has been relatively quiet up until recently. Right now we’re in Ogden that side of the street is Gates so all of neighbors feel like we don’t have any say in what Gates does. Instantly thinking with 67 loading bays from what I’m being told there’s going to be a lot of truck traffic we’re hoping it doesn’t depreciate the value, the quality of our lives.”
