Immigrant Students Graduate from RCSD

For eager senior students, the graduation season is a time of excitement. But for 30 students from the Rochester International Academy, walking across the stage is extra special. These 30 students are immigrants, most of whom have only been in the United States for a few years. The Academy itself is designed to facilitate immigrant ingratiation  into the United States and develop skills needed for the job market. These students hail from many different places including Afghanistan where some female students cannot continue their education. Many of these students are set to go to college in the fall.
