Florida is the Only State Not Pre-Ordering COVID-19 Shots For Toddlers

After the news that the FDA recommended the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for ages 6 months and older, Florida is the only state to not pre-order COVID-19 vaccine doses for babies and toddlers. White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed the state’s outlier status, stating: “We encouraged Florida on several occasions to order vaccines. By not doing so, the state will not have immediate, ready access to some.”
