According To Research, Online Daters Are Swiping Left To Smoker

If you’re single and a smoker, would you give up smoking to get more dating prospects? According to research, smoking singles are three times more likely to be ‘left on the shelf’ than their non-smoking counterparts. A study of 2,000 non-smokers found 38 per cent of online daters would swipe left to reject a would-be love interest if they were seen smoking or vaping in their profiles. More men admitted to swiping left on women seen smoking cigarettes on their profiles (42 per cent compared to 36 per cent) and also when they were visibly vaping (38 per cent vs 33 per cent).

But roll up cigarettes were named the least attractive smoking device by one fifth of those polled. As a result, a bold one in four admitted to lying about their smoking habits on their dating profile.
