Toss Your Great Value Pancake & Waffle Mix! It’s Recalled for Cable Fragments

Written by on March 22, 2022

If you’re in the mood for some pancakes, you may not want to crack open the Great Value brand. A recent release from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said in a notice, a single lot of Great Value Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix is being recalled after fragments of a cable used in the processing line were found in some product. The manufacturer, Continental Mills, recall stems from “potential foreign material contamination.”

The pancake and waffle mix can be found at Walmart stores, and the affected product was distributed nationwide. If you happen to own the product, you can either throw it away or return it to the store for a replacement or refund.
