Offset Defends Lizzo Against Haters

Migos rapper and Cardi B’s husband Offset has recently spoken out defending Lizzo against her haters and their body-shaming and racist comments. In the wake of her “Rumors” collaboration with Cardi B, Lizzo has recently a plethora of love, followed by hate online. She tearfully opened up about these comments on an Instagram Live just last week. Grammy-Award-winning singer Lizzo questioned why so many “fat-phobic” and “racist” comments were thrown her way when she’s simply trying to be positive.

Offset spoke with TMZ, saying; “Let these beautiful Black women be great. Stop judging. We work hard being entertainers for the world.” He also agreed with Facebook’s decision to scrub the negative comments from her post, calling it the “right thing to do.”

Cardi B also took to Twitter to defend Lizzo:

When you stand up for yourself they claim your problematic & sensitive.When you don’t they tear you apart until you crying like this.
