TSA Finds Over $900K In Unclaimed Money Found At US Airports

In business you hear the term sweeping the pennies and if you sweep enough you can find yourself a lot of money.
Last year reports TSA found over $900,000 in unclaimed money at airport security checkpoints and over $18,000 in foreign currency in the 2019 fiscal year.
TSA say passengers rush to get though security checkpoints and drop lose change and dollar bills when emptying out their pockets.
The report didn’t say exactly what happens to unclaimed money but you can contact TSA lost and found to make a claim.
