2 People arrested After a Fatal Mall Shooting in Omaha, Nebraska

There was a fatal shooting at Westroads Mall on Saturday. Treque Swift, 21 was killed and Je’Keya Veland, 22 was injured, but is suspected to survive. After some investigation, a 16 year-old was arrested on suspicion of first degree murder, and an 18 year-old was arrested on suspicion of accessory to a felony in the first degree.
The Omaha police were quoted saying, “The investigation indicates this was an isolated incident and not a random attack.”
