Phase 1B Will Allow Teachers To Get The Vaccine While Adding More Vaccination Stations

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has warned that if vaccination efforts aren’t increased dramatically, then it will be harder for everyone to reach herd immunity.
Now that the first phase of vaccinations has passed, phase 1B will go into effect next week with an increased number of vaccination stations.
In New York alone, there are 3.2 million eligible candidates for phase 1b, including over 3,000 teachers that are represented by the Rochester teacher’s association.
“I’m glad that the governor agrees that teachers should be among the first to get vaccinated, after the medical staff,”said Adam Urbanski, President Rochester teachers association.
