Governor Andrew Cuomo Announces New Metrics For COVID-19 Zones

COVID-19 Rates in Monroe County have continued to grow, seeing at least 600 new cases & 6 new deaths on Friday.
In response to the upward trend in infection rates New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that there are going to be updates to the metrics on what determines red, orange and yellow zones.
While the rest of the information will be disclosed on Monday, he did let everyone know that the criteria for shutting down the economy and declaring a red zone will now be based on whether or not the hospitals are at 90% capacity within 21 days.
“We can’t relax until COVID relaxes and COVID is not relaxing,” Cuomo said during the briefing.
