Monroe County’s COVID-19 Yellow Zone Drops Below 4%

For the first time in 8 days, Monroe County’s COVID-19 yellow zone is below 4% positivity.

This is a really good sign, as we were on track to become upgraded to an orange zone by Albany.

Monroe County’s current micro-cluster positivity rate is at 3.68 %. This news comes after the 14 day re evaluation and will be factored in to the next decision based on regulations and restrictions for public gatherings.

According to the New York State Department of Health, the Monroe County micro-cluster positivity rates for the past week were as follows:

  • November 9 — 4.76%
  • November 10 — 6.21%
  • November 11 — 5.69%
  • November 12 — 5.90%
  • November 13 — 5.09%
  • November 14 — 4.68%
  • November 15 — 4.77%
  • November 16 — 3.68%
