Tyler Perry Gives Out 1,000 Gift Cards with Atlanta Police

Tyler Perry is the black superhero of the Atlanta community. His latest act of heroism, is gave out 1,000 Kroger gift cards with the help of officers at the Atlanta Police Department. “This is about the community that I love, that I live in and work in. This is about good people who are in need of a hand up not a hand out,” Perry said. “This is about the good police officers who do their job well every day some of which are my personal friends.”

Police department thanked Perry on Social Media “Thank you to Tyler Perry for donating $50 Kroger gift cards to help us spread good will in the community.” Perry’s acts of kindness, have included paying for groceries for elderly shoppers in Atlanta and New Orleans his hometown in April.
