Governor Andrew Cuomo Full Briefing Testing Now Available For All New Yorkers

Written by on July 3, 2020

Governor Andrew Cuomo gave his COVID-19 briefing in New York City on Wednesday. I have to say I almost thought he was the President for a moment while he was addressing the rise in cases across the country.

So how is the Governor of New York explaining what’s happening across the country with the coronavirus and President Trump is not? That just does not make any sense to me and many other Americans as well.

Let’s get back to New York State. Gov. Cuomo said testing for the coronavirus is available for all New Yorkers. He is encouraging everyone in New York State to get tested and there is no cost to take the test. The testing site for Rochester that’s state-run is at the Monroe Community County College Brighton Campus.

Appointments are preferred so the testing site is not overwhelmed. There are also some requirements to be tested you must be in an enclosed vehicle with working windows and you will need ID.

For more information and appointments call 1-888-364-3065 or go to covid19screening.health.ny.gov.

You can also call the Monroe County Department of Health at 753-5555.

Watch the full briefing below Gov. Cuomo also speaks on President Trumps’ lack of leadership.
