Netflix Announced They’re Pledging $100 Million Dollars To Black Owned Banks

Netflix is stepping up to help make changes in America.

On Tuesday Netflix announced that they’re pledging $100 million dollars to Black owned Banks.
The streaming company said they’re trying to do their part to support black communities in the United States by shifting 2% of it’s cash holdings to Black owned Banks.
Netflix is also putting an extra $25 million dollars up it’s cash towards a fund called, the Black Economic Development Initiative.
A few weeks earlier Netflix CEO Reed Hastings pledged $220 million dollars to Black colleges.
