Happy National Drink Wine Day!!
Not that we need an excuse to drink wine on any day, but today we drink in honor of the wine. Here are some fun wine facts as we celebrate all wines.
Did you know that wine has been around since 6000 BC?
Back in Ancient Egypt, they would put natural sweeteners in their wine before drinking. The honey, dried fruit, or super ripe grapes would not only would make the wine sweet but it would increase the alcohol content.
In a museum in Germany you will find the world’s oldest bottle of wine which is over 1600 years old.
Prince Charles had a car designed by engineers at Aston Martin that runs on white wine!
What kind of wine do you prefer white or red and what do you like put in your wine (if anything) when you drink it?
I prefer red wines like Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Blends, Malbec, and Merlot. In the summer I have to admit a wine slushy is my guilty pleasure haha.
