Kansas City Comes Back To Win Super Bowl LIV

Damien Williams’s 2TD runs in the last 3 minutes of Super Bowl LIV, completed the comeback to lead the Kansas City’s to their 1st Super Bowl Championship in 50 years.

The game started off with the San Francisco 49ers scored on their 1st drive with a 38 yard Field Goal from Robbie Gould (SF Leading 0-3), which ate up 5 minutes in the 1st Quarter. Kansas City came right back with a Pat Mahones 1yard Touchdown run (KC Leading 7-3) just before the end of the 1st quarter. No score until the middle of the 2nd quarter, San Francisco turnover resulted in a Kansas City 31 yard Field Goal by Harrison Butker. (KC Leading 10-3) San Francisco came right back with Jimmy Garoppolo TD Pass tie the game (10-10), and that’s how the score remained heading into halftime.

The 3rd Quarter was all the San Francisco 49ers scoring with a 41 yard field goal from Robbie Gould. (San Francisco leads 13-10) After a Kansas City turnover, Raheem Mostert scores on a 1 yard TD run to take a (20-10 lead San Francisco). Kansas City started the 4th quarter with another turnover. A 2nd interception for Pat Mahomes and things looking bleak for KC. Until the Chiefs score on a Travis Kelce 1 yard TD catch to bring Kansas City back into the game (20-17 San Francisco) Followed by a 5 yard TD catch from Damien Williams with 2:44 left in the game to give KC (24-20 Lead) after the 49ers turned the ball over of down Damien Willams scored again 28 yard TD run to seal the win. Final score 31-20 Kansas City over San Francisco.

Congratulations to Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes who was named Super Bowl MVP and long time NFL Andy Reid won his 1st Super Bowl Championship on 222 Coaching victory. What a great way to wrap up to 100th year of the NFL Season. Who’s ready for 101?
