No More Plastic Bags Offered at Wegmans in Late January
Written by Adri V on January 7, 2020
As of March 1rst the statewide plastic bag ban will be in effect and Wegmans is getting a head start. This supermarket chain will stop offering plastic grocery bags starting January 27th, 2020.
There is an urge for all customers to switch to re-usable bags for their groceries. If you do not own many or any re-usable bags, Wegmans still has you covered and will be selling these bags in-store for only 99 cents each.
Many customers are in favor of this small change because it will make a greater impact on our environment by reducing the amount of plastic bags within our oceans and in our streets!
…Less plastic bags flapping around that tree branch on your way home?
