Omari Hardwick’s Awkward Beyonce Kiss

The NAACP 2019 Image Awards aired this past Saturday and has been the talk of the town ever since. Hosted by “Black-ish” star, Anthony Anderson, the awards show’s guest list boasted some powerful names.

Congresswoman Maxine Waters took home the NAACP Chairman’s Award, comedian Chris Rock gave a tastefully hilarious roast of “Empire” actor turned felony con man, Jussie Smollet, and Beyonce won the highly sought after Entertainer of the Year award alongside hubby Jay-Z, who was also awarded this year’s President’s Award.

However, the real gossip surrounded an awkward greeting between Omari Hardwick and Queen Bey. Apparently, the Beyhive is NOT okay with his lingering kiss that got a little too close for comfort, calling inappropriate and disrespectful. Take a look for yourself:

Hmmmm… two kisses does seem a little excessive, and the second was dangerously close to her mouth, but Bey and Jay both look unphased by the encounter. Fans are NOT having it though, here are some of their responses:
