The former Mayor of New York City and11th richest man in the world, Michael Bloomberg is donating $1.8 billion to his alma matter John Hopkins.
Bloomberg is donating the money to fund financial aid for low and middle income students. The billionaire is also considering running for president in 2020.
The donation is the largest financial contribution ever to any university in the history of the United States.
