SWV Singer Ask Kendrick Lamar To Get On Super Bowl Halftime Show, After ‘Heart Pt. 6’ Sample

SWV ’s LeLee Lyons is trying to snag a couple of minutes during Kendrick Lamar ’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. The singer took to Threads to express her interest in performing alongside Dot, who sampled the SWV song, “Use Your Heart” on the GNX album cut, “Heart Pt. 6.”

On “The Heart Pt. 6,” Kendrick Lamar reflects on the early days of TDE with Jay Rock, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and the people who helped them get their start. On the last verse, he acknowledges that the group never put out an album because he became focused on other endeavors.
