Work Zone Speed Cam on I-490 Sent Out $1.2 Million in Fine Over a 26 Day Period

Governor Kathy Hochul announced this earlier this year about speed cameras.

NYSDOT set up a photo radar on I-490 downtown at the Alexander overpass that sent out 25,000 that raked in $1.2 million dollars in fines over a 26-day period.

These speed cameras will be in different areas of work zones.

First offense is a $50 fine, after that ticket’s fines will be up to $100.
