Businesses in Rochester and surrounding areas are getting ready for Veterans Day on November 11. See below all the ways businesses and organizations are recognizing those who have served with discounts, free meals and free events for local veterans and their loved ones.
Delta Sonic free car washes
Free “Super Kiss Plus” car washes will be available to all veteran and active military service personnel at Delta Sonic. Coffee, fountain drinks, pizza and cookies, air fresheners and water bottles will also be available to veterans or servicemembers free of charge. All you will need to do is tell the car wash cashier that you are a veteran or an active servicemember. Additionally, Delta Sonic detail shops will give $15 off detail coupons, and all throughout the month of November, veterans can save $30 on any oil change. A valid ID is required for the oil change.
Rochester Jiffy Lube 50% discount
Rochester area Jiffy Lube will honor military this Veterans Day with 50% off oil changes for active and retired military veterans. This half-off event is valid at the following stores:
- Irondequoit – 1268 East Ridge Road
- Henrietta – 325 Marketplace Drive
- Geneseo – 29 East South Street
- Hornell – 141 Seneca Street
- Webster – 970 Jackson Road
If veterans are unable to visit any of these locations on November 11, you can still receive 25-percent off any oil change on each day throughout the year.
Applebee’s is offering a free lunch or dinner for military veterans on November 11. Not only do veterans get to eat free, but they will also receive a $5 bounce back card for a future visit within a 3-week redemption window.
Bob Evans is offering all veterans a special menu of seven homestyle favorites available for free. You can access the full Veterans Day menu on the Bob Evan’s website.
Buffalo Wild Wings is offering free boneless wings and fries for veterans on November 11. The offer is available for all participating dine-in locations and pickup counter locations as well.
Bill Grey’s is giving veterans a free World’s Greatest Cheeseburger, regular fries and soda with proof of Military Service. The offer will be available from the stores open to closing time on the holiday.
BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse offers veterans and active-duty military a complimentary Chocolate Chunk Pizookie. All current and former military guests will also receive a coupon for a free appetizer to use on a future visit.
Brugger’s Bagels is offering a free medium fresh-brewed coffee, hot or iced for any veteran who buys a breakfast on November 11.
Chik-fil-A is offering veterans specials depending on your location. Check with your local restaurant for details on this year’s Veterans Day special.
Chili’s Grill & Bar is giving free meals to all veterans and active military members on November 11. Chili’s asks you call your local restaurant with any questions before visiting.
Club Bud Light at 34 Rush has a complimentary menu for veterans and active duty members. These include boneless wings, the Rush Burger, Bruschetta Chicken Sandwich, and more. This offer is available from 12 to 6 p.m. on Veterans Day.
Denny’s is offering active and retired veterans a complimentary Original Grand Slam breakfast from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on November 11. This offer is only available for dine-in.
Dunkin’ Donuts is offering all active and retired veterans a free donut on November 11!
Hooters is offering current and former veterans a free entree when you dine-in on November 11.
IHOP is offering a free stack of pancakes for veterans between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on November 11! IHOP will be offering veterans a stack of red, white and blueberry pancakes topped with glazed strawberries, blueberry compote, and whipped topping with proof of Military ID.
The promotion is only active at participating locations, so be sure to check with your local IHOP before attending.
In-N-Out Burger is offering a complimentary meal, including any burger, fries, and beverage on In-N-Out Burger’s menu on November 11. All former and current members of the U.S. military will additionally receive a special edition Veterans Day decal.
Golden Corral is offering a free veterans dinner starting at 4:00 p.m. until close. The offer is dine-in only. No purchase or military ID is necessary to enjoy the free dinner, according to officials. DAV (Disabled American Veterans) representatives will also be available to accept donations.
Outback Steakhouse is offering veterans and active service members a free Bloomin-Onion and Coca-Cola drink. Dine-in and carry out are both available for this offer. Outback also offers a “Heroes Discount” every day, open to military veterans and servicemembers, police officers, firefighters, first responders, nurses, doctors and medical staff with corresponding medical, state or federal service ID, plus Military Personnel and their immediate family members. The discount will get you a 10% discount off of every check.
Olive Garden will be offering veterans one free meal from the special menu on November 11. This offer is dine-in only, and requires a Military ID.
Sonic Drive-In is offering 50% off Classic and Master Shakes on November 11.
Starbucks is giving veterans and active service members as well as their spouses a free tall iced or hot coffee.
Texas Roadhouse is offering a free dine-in or carry out meal voucher to veterans from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. that is redeemable through May 30, 2025 if you bring your Military ID!
White Castle is offering a free individual combo meal or a breakfast combo meal to all veterans and active-duty service members who dine-in on November 11.
