Rapper Gunna has partnered with the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) to launch a $500,000 initiative aimed at addressing economic inequality in his hometown of South Fulton, Georgia. The program, named the Gunna x BMAC 30349 Guaranteed Income Program, will provide 30 families in the 30349 zip code with a monthly stipend of $1,000 for one year. The initiative also offers support services such as financial empowerment and mental health resources. Gunna and BMAC are working with South Fulton Mayor Khalid Kamau and local organizations to select the recipients, with the program officially launching on September 18. This initiative is part of Gunna’s broader efforts to improve financial stability and quality of life in his community, building on previous projects like Gunna’s Drip Closet and the Goodr Grocery Store, which offer free essentials to students.
