Parenting Village to host annual Family Fest

Parenting Village will host its 9th annual Family Fest on Sunday, July 21, at Rothfuss Park in Penfield, NY. The free event runs from 2-6 p.m. and offers a variety of activities for families, including face painting, bounce houses, a silent auction, and food trucks. Last year, the festival welcomed over 1,500 attendees and featured more than 35 local organizations and businesses, providing activity tables and mini-classes for both children and parents.

This year, the event will include special visitors such as a fire truck and a petting zoo, as well as performances and classes under a big tent. Food options will be available from Chef’s Catering, Le Petit Poutine, J&S Fried Dough, and Rob’s Sweet Tooth. With 45+ organizations represented, there will be plenty of activities and opportunities for families to connect and learn about community services. Volunteers are welcome to sign up to help make the event a success.
