Red Wings launch CPR training kiosk at Innovative Field

The Rochester Red Wings, in collaboration with UR Medicine and the American Heart Association, have introduced the HeartSaver Hub Mobile Kiosk at Innovative Field, available until June 16, 2024. This kiosk, a first in New York State and one of only four in the U.S., provides hands-free CPR training. Visitors can engage in a brief interactive session, hands-on practice, and a 30-second test. The initiative aims to improve survival rates from out-of-hospital cardiac arrests, which have a 90% non-survival rate among over 350,000 annual cases. Red Wings General Manager Dan Mason emphasized the life-saving potential of the kiosk’s quick training sessions, highlighting the importance of being prepared to assist in emergencies.
