Adding to the magic of the concert series, select performances feature a delightful surprise: Grammy-winner Blue Ivy, the eldest daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, graces the stage with her dance skills, and grandma Tina Knowles-Lawson couldn’t be prouder.
In an interview with People, Knowles-Lawson, mother to Beyoncé and grandmother to Blue Ivy, affectionately mentioned, “We’re a family of high-heels; we start walking in them early.” She went on to express her immense pride for Blue Ivy, adding, “She’s having a blast, and I couldn’t be prouder because she has put in some real hard work.”
Blue Ivy, recognized as the second-youngest Grammy winner ever, effortlessly integrated into Beyoncé’s expert troupe of dancers. Among them were names such as the ballroom dynamo Honey Balenciaga and the distinguished dancer-choreographer Aliya Janell.
