911 Dispatcher Charged With Manslaughter Of Refusing To Send Ambulance

A 911 dispatcher from Pennsylvania is being charged with involuntary manslaughter after refusing to send an ambulance to a woman in need. Reports say the incident happened back in 2020 the woman’s daughter called 911 and told the dispatcher her mother needed an ambulance and described her as jaundiced, incoherent and “bleeding from the rectum”. The dispatcher told the woman no saying it would be a “waste of resources”. The woman died a day later.
