The day I have a child wheel me to the airport so I can give birth on a damn plane!
I’m not playing…
Just a few days ago, a woman (no article states her name, even though she’s the true hero here) gave birth prematurely while 30,000 feet in the air on a flight from Dubai to Manila.
The mother was able to give birth in one short hour during the 9 hour flight without any complications.
The airline awarded her ‘airborn’ (get it?) baby, Haven, 1 million free air miles! Also, the CEO of the airline, stated the air miles can be shared with the baby’s family. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
