WWE Legend & Rochester Native, Chyna, Dies at 45

imageWWE Legend, Chyna, was found unresponsive in her California apartment last night.

Officials are unsure of the cause of death, but a possible overdose is in question. Chyna, real name Joanie Laurer, was born in Rochester, New York and attended Penfield High School. After tackling a very troubling past, Chyna found an escape through fitness. She entered many fitness competitions after college, and was later discovered by WWF owners. Chyna made her first wrestling debut in 1997, and instantly became a fan favorite. She teamed up Triple H, and became one of the original members of D-Generation X. She was also the first woman to ever compete in the WWF’s Royal Rumble. Her contribution to wrestling will forever be remembered.
