3rd Annual Black Business ROC Gala Held This Weekend

Over this weekend, the third annual Black Business Roc Gala honored several business owners here in Rochester for their contributions and service to the communities they serve.
Co-owner of Honey B Home and Essentials, Marquis Butler, stated: “A lot of times as a business owner, and especially a Black business owner, its easy to get discouraged because there’s a lot of hurdles, whether it’s marketing hurdles, financial hurdles, distribution hurdles…Collaboration with each other, it’s great, because they market us, we market them, we kind of work together and our goal is to grow together step by step by step and organically grow – it’s a beautiful thing.”
