Graham ‘does not anticipate’ asking Obama for Russian testimony

Earlier this week, Trump publicly called out Obama and insisted that he be called by Senator Lindsey Graham to testify about the origin of the Russia investigation and the FBI’s investigation regarding Michael Flynn.
Trump tweeted, “If I were a Senator or Congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama.” Trump also tweeted, “He knew EVERYTHING. Do it @LindseyGrahamSC, just do it. No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more talk!”.
These are just two in a series of tweets Trump directed at Obama, as Trump is currently claiming Obama engaged in criminal wrongdoing during his last few months in office, including illegally targeting some of Trump’s associates. Trump summarized his accusations against Obama as the “biggest political crime in American history.”
Moments after Trump’s tweet to Graham, Graham spoke out and said, “I don’t think now’s the time for me to do that. I don’t know if that’s even possible. I have grave concerns about the role of executive privilege and all kinds of issues…I understand President Trump’s frustration but be careful what you wish for. Just be careful what you wish for.”
