2 NYC Psychics Slapped With Probation

A Manhattan psychic along with her sidekick will not be going to prison instead were each Sentence 5 months probation after taking advantage of a couple of people who spent thousands of dollars for her service.
Ann Thompson and Sarah demetro each pleaded guilty to scheming to defraud and grand larceny charges and have to pay back more than $200,000.
According to reports one of the victims were scammed for more than $740,000
One of the victims a woman said back in 2013 she met Ann Thompson in New York City while visiting her kid that was in college at the time.
The victim did a $5 card reading was impressed by the service and after that everything else went out of control.
Another victim was a middle-aged man who was scammed out of $72,000 after going through hard times with family.
Now I remember being in Manhattan like 5 or 6 years ago and I actually stopped and got a card reading but before anything happened there was a disclaimer explain to me.
