Two rare earthquakes hit Baltimore, Maryland in just three days. The first earthquake was small registering 2.6-magnitude on the Richter scale Friday afternoon near Woodlawn.
The residence of Woodlawn spoke on the matter.
Wanda Binns stated:
”It scared me to death. Certainly, you would expect to see it on the West Coast. Who would think of something like this happening here?”
Another resident, Kim Dixon stated:
”It was a little scary. There was shaking of the house that I never experienced before.”
The second earthquake hit earlier Sunday registering 1.7-magnitude in West Baltimore. Again, this earthquake is considered very small. For instance, an earthquake at 1.5-magnitude is the smallest earthquake that can be felt.
