An 11-year-old boy driving a stolen car in Rochester struck a 34-year-old woman on Wednesday night, sending her to the hospital. Police responded to the incident near Flint Street and Jefferson Avenue around 8:30 p.m., where they found the woman injured; she is expected to survive.
Witnesses directed officers to the young driver, who was behind the wheel of a stolen 2017 Hyundai. Due to his age, the boy could not be charged and was returned to his parents, with a referral made to the Monroe County Family Support Center.
