Cash reward offered for information on RTS bus driver attack

Rochester’s CrimeStoppers is offering a cash reward of $500 to $2,000 for information on the attack of an RTS bus driver on June 18. Mayor Evans, who contributed $1,000 to the fund, emphasized the importance of RTS and its bus drivers to the community. The incident occurred when the bus driver picked up two males on Bay Street, and one of them shot a BB gun at the driver before fleeing. The driver, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was taken to a hospital, but the incident significantly impacted his life. Police have released a photo of the suspect but have yet to make any arrests.
